Resistors (32 bit version)

‘Resistors’ helps electricians identify and select resistors. It consists of two components.

FINDING RESISTANCE FROM A RESISTOR'S COLOUR BANDS

The user selects colours for the first four bands of a known resistor and, optionally, the fifth Tolerance band. The absolute resistance is then shown together with the minimum and maximum resistances according to the tolerance, with the most appropriate units from Ohms, Kilohms and Megohms selected automatically.

FINDING A RESISTOR'S COLOUR BANDS FROM A RESISTANCE

A resistance is entered and units from Ohms, Kilohms and Megohms chosen, then the first four colour bands are shown.
